Challenge:
Communicate Nutella’s value as being part of a well-rounded breakfast with the “Build a Better Breakfast with Nutella” promotion, while inviting consumers to take advantage of partner brand discounts found under the lid for bread, milk, orange juice and eggs.
Solution:
Ferrero partnered with Costco to convey Nutella’s value as part of a well-rounded breakfast through the “Build a Balanced Breakfast” campaign. Conveying an integrated message across all shopper touchpoints was a key element in reinforcing the message while driving trial. Power aisle pallet displays and in-store sampling drove trial, recipe cards promoted easy breakfast solutions and on-pack promotion/under-the-cap couponing integrated the message across all shopper touchpoints while reinforcing the message in-home.
