Canadian Tire

Challenge:

Create a brand identity for Canadian Tire’s new line of environmentally responsible household products. The design had to discredit consumer opinion that “green” products do not perform as well as their non-green counterparts.

Solution:

“Blue” was a point of difference among numerous “green” offerings. Minimizing sell copy to one key feature clearly conveys the environmental benefits of each product. White space, simple sans serif type, prominent earth imagery and a succinct tagline make the brand current and establishes Canadian Tire as a credible source for these specialty items.
